Ruth Elaine Knight

Ruth Elaine Knight, 71, of Marathon, NY, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at the Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, NY.

Born in the Town of Triangle on December 17, 1950, Ruth was the daughter of the late Arthur and Corrine Andrews Monk.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Rickie Knight, of Marathon; and her children, Michael (Chantelle) Knight of Marathon and Angelia Knight of Cortland. She also leaves behind a grandchild, Preston Thorington of Marathon; brothers, Rick (Kathy) Monk of S. Plymouth and Bob Monk of Texas Valley; a sister, Shirley Monk of Texas; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Gloria Monk-Wolcott and Nancy Monk.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and time.
