Max R. LaFever, Jr.

Max R. LaFever, Jr., 65, of Marathon, NY, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at the SUNY Upstate University Medical Center, Syracuse, NY.

Max was born in Montour Falls, NY, on June 11, 1956, the son of the late Max LaFever, Sr. and Bertha Wood LaFever. Prior to his illness, he had been employed at Redding Hunter Reloading, Cortland, NY, for over 40 years.

He is survived by a large family who will miss him dearly.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Marathon Memorial Chapel, 4071 State Route 221, Marathon, NY, on Sunday, August 29, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In keeping with the wishes of the family, there will be no formal service.
