Harold E. Brown

Harold E. Brown, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021.

Born on May 23, 1930, Harold started Brown’s Trailer Sales in 1958 and retired in 1996. He loved working in the woods and in his workshop. He was one decent man, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

He was predeceased by two wonderful women, BettyLou and Sarah, and a son, Jeffrey. He is survived by two daughters, Loretta and Christy; a brother, James; a brother-in-law, J.R. Croft; two stepsons, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Marathon Memorial Chapel, 4071 State Route 221, Marathon, NY, on Saturday, November 6, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The family has kindly requested those in attendance to please wear a face mask. Burial will be at Marathon Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Marathon Historical Society, P.O. Box 444, Marathon, NY 13803 or the Marathon Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 131, Marathon, NY 13803.
