Ariana Rose Williams

Ariana Rose Williams, a loving daughter and granddaughter, became an angel on her 6th birthday of March 9, 2024 at the Golisano Children's Hospital, Syracuse, NY.

Ariana was born in Syracuse, NY, on March 9, 2018, the daughter of Andrea Cole.  She faced her share of struggles during her life but she was a strong and courageous fighter.  Almost always happy, she touched the lives of many and to many she was was the light of their lives.

She is survived by her parents, Andrea Cole and Mark Paugh, of Marathon; maternal grandmother, Kathy Rogers of Killawog; maternal grandfather, Jerome Spencer of Johnson City, TN; and paternal grandparents, Joy and Randy Parr of Richford.  She also leaves behind an aunt, Adella (Trenton) Piatt of Tacoma, WA; an uncle, Eddie Ritter of Paradise, PA; a great-aunt, Joanne Rogers of Killawog; a great-uncle, Daniel Rogers of Killawog; close friends, Lisa Evener of Groton and Shirley Chamberlain of Cortland; and a special cousin, Braelynn Rogers of Oxford.

Funeral services for Arianna will be held at the Marathon Memorial Chapel, 4071 State Route 221, Marathon, NY, on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Stephanie Brown officiating.  The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until the start of the service at 6:00 p.m.
